Three steps, then you are fishing
No boat. No wiring. No installation. Take it out of the bag and you are reading the water in under a minute.
Charge and switch on
Charge the sensor, then switch on the sensor and the handset. The screen wakes up ready to read.
Tie it on and cast
Tie the sensor to your line and cast it over the water you want to read. It floats and starts sending straight away.
Read the water
Depth, water temperature, the shape of the bottom and fish icons appear on the colour screen. Move along and read again.
No phone and no app. The handset has its own screen, so it works with cold wet hands and no signal, and it does not flatten your phone battery on the bank.

So far so good. This locates bigger fish and seems to ignore the smaller. To me that is great! I'm not sure if that's from how I have it setup or it's just built that way. I like to cast it out from shore and let it drift back in. The alarm feature has been great. All around I like it better than my garmen on my boat
Wow. Neat. I have been fishing most the summer using a pond prowler. This thing changed the game. I been doing alright with simple fish. Perch, some trout, a cutthroat or 3 etc. But kokanee? Deep and mysterious. Except now. Here... my 1st ever. This thing is cool.
Accurate, and easy to use. Decent battery life on full charge. Customer service is good..
