Find his size
Start with his weight. If he lands between two sizes, or between two of the weight ranges below, measure his chest instead. That is the measurement that decides whether the jacket closes.

Chest. A soft tape all the way around the widest part of his ribcage, just behind the front legs. This is the one that matters. Neck. Around the base of the neck, where a collar sits. Back length. From the base of the neck to the base of the tail.
Between sizes? Size up. A jacket that is a little long still looks tailored. One that will not fasten across the chest does not.
Measurements are taken flat and can vary by roughly 1 to 3 cm from piece to piece. If you are close to a limit, size up, or email us his chest measurement and we will tell you which to order.

What size do I need?
There are six sizes, S through XXXL, covering roughly 20 lb to 99 lb. Start with his weight to narrow it down.
If he sits between two sizes, measure his chest instead. That is the number that decides whether the jacket fastens, and it beats weight every time. Full measurements are in the size guide.
Will it fit a big dog?
Yes. XXXL takes a 39 in chest and a 25 in neck, which covers a Rottweiler, a Bernese or a Great Dane.
For reference: XL suits a Labrador or Golden Retriever, L a Border Collie or Australian Shepherd, M a Beagle or Corgi, and S a French Bulldog or Boston Terrier.
I need it for a set date. When should I order?
Delivery is 6 to 12 business days, plus one day for us to pack it. The live estimate on this page works out your own dates from today.
For a wedding, order at least four weeks ahead, and six if you can. Not because it takes that long, but because it leaves room to swap sizes once without anyone panicking. Try it on him the day it lands, not the night before.
Is it comfortable for him to wear?
It sits like a coat, over the back and shoulders, with nothing over his face, ears or paws. Most dogs settle into it within a minute, far more easily than anything that covers the head.
Two things help. Get the size right, because tight across the chest is what dogs object to. And put it on him once before the day so it is not new to him when the photographer arrives.
What if it does not fit?
Send us a photo within 30 days and we will sort it. A different size, or a full refund. Your choice.
