Go by your pet's weight. You already know it and you will not need a tape measure. The neck strap adjusts, so there is room either side of every size.

What size do I need?
Go by weight, not measurements. S is for pets under 8 lb, M for 8 to 16 lb, and L for anything over 16 lb.
You already know roughly what your pet weighs, and you will not need a tape measure. The neck strap adjusts on every size, so there is room either side. Between sizes, size up. Full numbers are in the size guide.
Will my cat actually keep it on?
Honestly, that depends on your cat. Some wear it happily and some shake it off in ten seconds. Anyone promising you otherwise has not met a cat.
A cloak does have the best odds of anything in this category. It sits over the shoulders and ties at the neck, with nothing over the legs, belly or face, so there is far less for them to object to than a full body costume. Most owners put it on, take the photo, take it off, and give a treat.
Does it fit dogs too?
Yes. It is made for cats and dogs, and the sizing works the same way for both. L takes a neck up to 11.8 in and suits dogs over 16 lb, so it covers a lot more than just the toy breeds.
Weigh your dog, pick the matching size, and adjust the neck strap once it arrives.
Will it arrive before Halloween?
Delivery runs 7 to 14 business days, plus one day for us to pack it. The live estimate further up this page calculates your own dates from today.
To be safe for 31 October, order by 9 October. After that we cannot promise it lands in time, and we would rather tell you now than take the order and disappoint you.
What if it does not fit or I change my mind?
Send us a photo within 30 days and we will make it right, either a replacement in a different size or a full refund. Your choice.

Ordered the medium for a 12 lb cat and it fits perfectly. He actually left it on long enough for me to get about forty photos, which has never happened with any costume I've bought him.
